The tripping of the box type substation may be caused by the line or equipment failure. It is prohibited to put it into operation until the cause is identified. The capacitor switching device for landscape type buried substations can be composed of controllable silicon load switches or capacitor specific switching contactors. Thyristors are contactless switching devices, and when the voltage points at both ends are zero (equipotential), they are connected to the filtering branch. 3. When the main switch on the low-voltage side of the box type substation trips, a detailed inspection of the primary and secondary equipment on the low-voltage side is required to determine the possible cause of the fault.

If the overcurrent protection action occurs on the low-voltage side of the box transformer by the complete electrical manufacturer, it can be judged by checking the protection action. If only the overcurrent protection action is on the low-voltage side of the box transformer, two situations can be ruled out: switch misoperation or line fault switch refusal to operate. By further inspecting the secondary equipment, check whether the protective pressure plate is missing, whether the fuse core is burnt out, and determine the cause of the malfunction.

If a box type substation trips, it will stop running and greatly delay its use. The measures taken vary in different situations, and we should treat them one by one.
