1、 American Box Transformer, abbreviated as Meibian

1. The wiring method of Meibian: one or two 10KV incoming lines; A single transformer with a capacity generally ranging from 500KVA to 800KVA; 4-6 low-voltage outgoing cables.
2. The primary components of Meibian include transformers, 10KV ring network switches, 10KV cable plugs, and low-voltage pile head enclosures. It has the advantages of small size, low cost, and convenient equipment.
3. Beauty transformation benefits: small size, small footprint, easy to place, easy to pretend, and easy to harmonize with the environment of the community. It can shorten the length of low-voltage cables, reduce line losses, and also lower the cost of power supply matching.

4. Disadvantages of Meibian: low power supply reliability; Without an electric organization, it is impossible to install distribution automation equipment; No capacitor equipment, bad luck for descending line loss; The noise level is higher than that of type III and V stations, because type III and V stations place transformers indoors to provide sound insulation; In addition, decompose the concentrated electromagnetic radiation of Type III and Type V stations into multi-point radiation; Due to the different foundation of civil engineering for different capacity box transformers, it is inconvenient to increase the capacity of box transformers; When the transformer is overloaded or the user increases capacity, the civil engineering needs to be rebuilt, which will result in a long power outage time and increase the difficulty of the project.

1. The wiring method of the European transformer:
a) Single transformer distribution method - two 10KV incoming lines; The capacity of a single transformer is generally between 500KVA and 800KVA; Low voltage outgoing cables generally have 4-6 circuits.
b) Two transformer distribution methods - two 10KV incoming lines; Two transformers, each with a capacity ranging from 500KVA to 800KKVA; Low voltage outgoing cables generally have 8-12 routes.
2. The primary components of the European transformer include transformers, 10KV ring network switchgear, low-voltage capacitors, low-voltage switches, etc. It is suitable to compact the equipment of the Type III station in a metal box, making the Type III station smaller. The volume and cost of European style box transformers are higher and larger than those of American style box transformers.
3. European benefits: noise and suitability for Type III and Type I stations; The radiation is lower than that of American box transformers because the transformers of European box transformers are placed inside a metal box to provide shielding effect; It is possible to set up distribution automation, which not only benefits Type III and Type I stations, but also has the primary benefit of American box type substations.
