Taking a certain energy storage power station as an example, the station has considered two solutions in its engineering implementation: wall mounted energy storage and stacked energy storage. We ultimately chose the stacked energy storage solution based on the following considerations:
(1) Stacked energy storage solutions can be flexibly combined and have strong scalability, and the maintenance and replacement of battery units are also relatively convenient. In the future, when the power station needs maintenance or replacement, the cost and time cost will be lower;
(2) Although the stacked energy storage solution has a large footprint, the installation space of the energy storage power station is sufficient, so this factor has little impact on our choice.
Overall, wall mounted energy storage and stacked energy storage each have their own advantages and applicable scenarios. In practical applications, it is necessary to consider one's actual needs and economic benefits when choosing.
